MFSIA Instructor of the Year
Each year we ask for nominations from our membership for the MFSIA Instructor of the Year. The nominees come from all five regions of Michigan and from this select group, the MFSIA Instructor of the Year is selected. Winners are also selected as Regional Instructor of the Year.

Doug DoeferAt the 2007 Annual Conference, Fire Chief Doug Doefer (left) from the Bay City Fire Department was honored as the MFSIA Instructor of the Year.

Chief Doefers’s name will be submitted to the International Society of Fire Service Instructors to represent Michigan’s nominee for Instructor of the year.
